There were several horses that really caught the eye over the past week and the below three look like bankers to win similar contests in the near future. I’d strongly recommend placing all three in your trackers:
DIVISION (William Haggas) – This Wathnan owned sprinter caught the eye in both the Commonwealth Cup (3rd) at AScot and also on Saturday in the July Cup (5th). A return to Ascot in the autumn is on the cards and he looks a serious player returned to a stiffer track.
INFRAAD – This horse caught the eye in no uncertain terms on Friday at Chester and would have won with any sort of a clear run. He remains on what’s clearly a competitive mark and is one to keep on side wherever he turns up next.
GALIYAN – Having conceded first run to eventual winner Point of Law at Newmarket in the Bahrain Trophy, this Andrew Balding trained colt looks highly likely to come out on top in a rematch and is quite clearly good enough to win in Group company in the near future.
