An exceptional Saturday for members courtesy of Kind of Blue who took the Sprint Stakes on QIPCO Champions Day for the Fanshawe team – a sprinter to get excited about for next season!
Three for the trackers, one of which is hopefully due to run next week:
MISS WONG (David Simcock) – Having been found out wanting for a turn of foot as the pace lifted on her second outing at Nottingham earlier in the week, this filly is one to keep on side once tackling 1m2f or further. Her work suggests she could be above average once her stamina is drawn out.
NOAHSGREATRAINBOW (Harry Derham) – We’re just starting to get into the jumps racing for the year and this Harry Derham trained five-year old is held in high regard. Described by his trainer as being “well above average” he’s expected to be back out at Newbury next month.
KART D’ESTRUVAL (Dan Skelton) – Raced twice over the hurdles in France for his previous stable, this horse will spend this coming season over the hurdles and is felt to be above average. With the Dan Skelton stable among the winners at the moment this horse is worth keeping a close eye on when making his debut for connections (has two entries at Cheltenham next week)
