With a busy few weeks planned I have notebooked three horses from this week’s racing that are well worth keeping on side having had good messages passed on for the below. All three are horses to keep on side over the coming weeks with the last blog having already thrown up a winner on Saturday:

HANG UP (James Fanshawe) – It was quite clear following her most recent outing on Wednesday that this filly by Lope de Vega is being aimed at handicaps having never been asked a question in her Kempton maiden when a well-beaten 6th. She is now qualified for a handicap mark and will be a well handicapped filly going forwards, particularly over 1m4f+

MOOJEE (Roger Varian) – There was a strong message circulating for this colt by Iffraaj prior to his debut at Redcar on the 2nd of October. Having been slow away and green throughout he ran respectably in the end to finish 3rd and with significant improvement expected from his first to second start the Varian yard are confident we’ll see a different side to him next time around, particularly over a mile.

BLUBERRY HILL (John Gosden) – Under what can only be described as a ‘considerate’ ride by Martin Harley, this colt by Showcasing had plenty left come the line and winning a similar novice or maiden is expected to be a formality for him, especially when stepping up in trip to a mile.
